Several small things
Static air coolers can be equipped with EVD ice. In the first step, we added this accessory as "on request".
One of the DHNI images has been updated.
If no air cooler is found, a note now appears explaining why this may be the case.
Tests have shown that the accessory "Filter adapter incl. air filter" can cause stalls in the S variant of the DHN. Therefore, the next larger L variant is now automatically selected if necessary.
Bugfix: The price of one air cooler was defined incorrectly.
Bugfix: On the PDF data sheet, not all values of the selected fan speed were formatted in bold on the "Additional fan speeds" tile.
Refrigerant charge
The refrigerant charge is now displayed on the data sheet in the Fluid tile.
Performance boost
We have significantly increased the speed of the thermodynamic calculations. In our tests, the calculation time was halved after clicking on the "Let's go" button, while the calculation accuracy remained the same. We also conducted icing tests with the MultiRef variants of the V‑evaporators and were able to adjust the minimum permissible temperatures.
UT/FK intermediate plates
We added the accessory “intermediate plates” to the UT/FK calculator. You can select up to 10 intermediate plates in the form "I", "L", "U" or "Z" with a bend length accurate to the millimeter.
DHNI - Air intake from above
The option "Air intake from above" is now available for the DHNI series. This option is free of charge for you. This means that the standard "Air intake from below" and the option "Air intake from above" are identical in price.
Maximum current and power consumption
The fans' maximum total current and maximum total power consumption are now displayed on the data sheet. We have also added the fluid icons to the fluid selection buttons.
Second fan speed of FKN and more
We implemented the second fan speed of the series FKN. All thermodynamic data is now shown on the data sheet.
The technical drawings of DHNs and DHNIs have been redesigned.
We added the obsolete air coolers FHV/T x2y EC (HFC) and FHV/T x2y EC COI. You can now recalculate them.
A few minor bugs have been fixed.
New labels and icons
In addition to the previously introduced MultiRef label and the gray A1 and red A2L/A3 icons, we are introducing new labels and icons for our other product groups: Water and brine air coolers will receive the label and an associated blue icon . CO2 air coolers will receive the label and a green icon .

MultiRef and much more
We have redesigned the FKN series. FKNs can now be used with A2L/A3 refrigerants.
All our air coolers for A2L/A3 refrigerants are also suitable for A1 (HFC) refrigerants. We are introducing the new label for this. The gray icon () stands for A1 refrigerants, the red one () for A2L/A3 refrigerants. You will see the logo and the icons again and again in the future. Further information can be found on our website. If you select the refrigerant category "A1 (HFC)", all MultiRef air coolers will also be calculated. You can select or deselect these via a corresponding filter.
If you specify the fluid data for brine air coolers yourself, you can now also enter a name. This will appear on the data sheet instead of the generic text "manual input".
The FHV series now also has the "Insulated drip tray" accessory in the non‑T version.
The selected fluid is now displayed on the fluid category selection buttons.
EVD ice with large MOPD
We have a new accessory. For CO₂ DX evaporators, you can now choose between the standard MOPD 35 bar and a version with a larger MOPD of up to 120 bar after selecting the "EVD ice with E2V, sensors and Ultracap" accessory. There you will also find an explanation of what the MOPD is. Simply move the mouse over "MOPD". We have also fixed a small bug and reduced the default value of the maximum pressure drop of brine air coolers from 75 kPa to 50 kPa.
Delivery times, zoom on smartphone
Delivery times have been updated. Furthermore, you can now zoom with two fingers on your mobile device, as you are used to, for example to take a closer look at the technical drawing.
Several small things
We have simplified the filter buttons for motor technology and defrost option. They are now buttons with 3 states: "AC and EC", "only AC" and "only EC" or "with and without el. defrosting", "only with el. defrosting" and "only without el. defrosting".
We added the accessory "Bent connections on request" to the static air coolers.
We have renamed the fluid category "HFC" to "A1 (HFC)" to match the "A2L/A3" fluid category.
A few minor bugs have been fixed.
Displaying the prices
As it is already the case with the static air coolers, the prices of our brine air coolers as well as our evaporators are only displayed to logged-in users.

Corrosion protection D with A2L/A3 refrigerants
The combination of corrosion protection D with A2L/A3 refrigerants was not possible for UTs and FKs. However, we have now investigated whether the flow of air through an air cooler protected with corrosion protection D can lead to static charging. Since this is not the case, we can also release corrosion protection D in combination with A2L/A3 refrigerants. Static charging cannot cause the refrigerant to ignite. Please ensure correct earthing during installation.
Operating temperatures of the fans
We have added the minimum and maximum operating temperature of the fans. If you design at very low or very high air temperatures, only the air coolers with permissible fans will be displayed.
Several small things
If the language Norsk Bokmål was set in the browser, it was not possible to create a PDF data sheet.
The accessories "MS heating rods in coil" and "Air conditioning heating using MS heating rods" are no longer mutually exclusive.

V evaporators released for A2L/A3
Measurements showed that there is no static charge due to the air flowing over the fins. We can therefore approve our V‑evaporators for A2L/A3 refrigerants. Even in the event of a leakage, static charge cannot cause ignition.
R508B added
We added the refrigerant R508B. You can make your own calculations with it. For calculations at low temperatures down to -88°C, please contact our sales department.
HFC and HFO DX evaporators for EasySelect 3.0
In addition to CO₂, the EasySelect now includes HFC and HFO refrigerants (also A2L/A3).

The air cooler calculation is now much faster. Depending on the thermodynamic specifications (capacity, temperatures...) the calculation time is 30% to 50% shorter.

Several small things
The accessory "Trace heating for condensate drain" is now available for all air coolers.
Some accessories are no longer allowed when a specific other accessory is selected. E.g. the two EVD-ice (with and without ultracap) are now mutually exclusive.
Electrical heaters are now more clearly identified as to whether they are ST or MS heating rods and whether they are "in the coil" or "in the drip tray".
Bugfix: For VD evaporators AC was specified as motor technology, although EC fans are used.
Bugfix: Some filters were not correctly applied to the air coolers in the hit list.

CO₂ DX evaporators for EasySelect 2.0

After the UT/FK calculator already published at the beginning of the year has meanwhile established itself as a standard, brine air coolers are now also available with the new Roller EasySelect. During the design process, all thermodynamic values are calculated according to your inputs such as required capacity, coolant, and temperatures. Try it out right away!
